WMF kettles have a traditional shape for good reason: Large amounts of water have to be heated quickly and in an energy-efficient way. Even in terms of design, the kettles leave nothing to be desired. The characteristic body shape comes from the kettle being able to absorb a great deal of heat via the wide bottom surface and losing very little heat through the small top surface.
