The result of this completely novel process is a blade steel of unequalled quality and unmatched sharpness. The characteristic grain or texture of the knives is produced by etching as a reaction to the combination of different special steels. All Damasteel knives are packed in an elaborate wooden gift canteen. In order to retain the sharpness of the knives ensure you only sharpen with a sharpening steel! As the blades can be ground at a very sharp angle it is best to pass the knife with a somewhat flatter angle alongside the steel.
